Education for Ministry Mentor Training Announced

Education for Ministry Mentor Training is September 8-10, 2011, at St. Francis Springs Prayer Center - Stoneville, in Greensboro, NC. Training begins on Thursday at 3pm and ends by Saturday at 3pm.

Education for Ministry is a four year course of study which strives to help every baptized person fulfill their baptismal vows. EfM provides a theological education program which familiarizes individuals with the foundation of Christian faith and teaches them how to interpret and express that in daily life. As the emphasis on lay ministry has grown, the EfM program has played a crucial role in developing theologically informed, knowledgeable lay leaders.

For questions or more information about Education for Ministry, where EfM groups meet within the Diocese or about upcoming training schedules, please contact Shelley Kappauf, EfM Coordinator by email or 336-273-5770.
