Listen to a panel discussion and open conversation sponsored Sept. 28 by Duke Divinity School's Anglican Episcopal House of Studies on "Fathoming the Archbishop: What is Rowan Williams Up To?" (requires iTunes free software download if program is not installed on your computer). Williams is the Archbishop of Canterbury and the leader of the worldwide Anglican Communion.
Panelists included Marilyn McCord Adams, Distinguished Research Professor at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and the former Regius Professor of Divinity in Oxford, England; Sam Wells, Dean of Duke Chapel; and G. News from Around Our Diocese Click on underlined events for more information October 9 - St. Andrews Episcopal Church Community Health Fair, from 10 am to 2 pm, 3601 Central Avenue, Charlotte, Vendors/Service Providers from the medical, dental, psychological, eye and pharmaceutical will provide screenings, information/referrals and much more. Everything is FREE and ALL are welcome to attend (from children, youth, adult & seniors). October 10 - Green Team Presentation at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Durham, Episcopal churches invited to attend presenation on green improvements and cost savings implemented at St. Luke's, 2pm. October 10-12 - Congregations in the diocese are invited to an old-time revival at St. Cyprian's, Oxford, at 7pm each evening.
