> Middlesex CAC releases Summer Safety Tips to help keep kids safe (click here to download the PDF). On June 30, MCAC will launch the updated online Mandated Reporter training, to include the new reporting obligations under the MA Human Trafficking Law. The training is free to anyone with internet access, and the text is available in multiple languages. See http://middlesexcac.org/

> The Berkshire County Kids' Place conference - Identifying, Responding to, and Healing Victims of Abuse - took place June 12 in Pittsfield, and the 20th Annual Berkshire County Law Enforcement Golf Tournament on June 7 raised $8,000 for the Kids' Place! 

> Children's Cove celebrates 15 years of serving children and families! On June 11, Children's Cove held it's 11th Annual Golf Tournament, bringing in 120 players and raising $35,000!

> CAC of Bristol County featured in local news.  

> Norfolk Advocates for Children & Plymouth County CAC together hosted a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training at Bridgewater State University in June.


> Baystate Family Advocacy Center was awarded a contract to provide Homicide Bereavement Services to homicide survivors in Hampden County. FAC Medical Director, Dr. Boos, spoke on the steps of Springfield City Hall for a flag raising ceremony, in recognition of April as Child Abuse Awareness Month.

MACA is privileged to have 11 Children's Advocacy Centers (CACs) in our membership.

Only 1 in 10 will tell.

 In April, MACA launched the One With Courage campaign across Massachusetts. The national campaign focuses on the courage it takes to talk about child sexual abuse.

We are committed to strengthening collaboration and fostering systemic and societal change to protect children. Through support of member organizations, the Chapter ensures that children and their families have access to high quality, comprehensive, specialized and culturally competent services of a Children's Advocacy Center.
