| > MACA receives Chapter Support grant from National Children's Alliance (NCA), which will provide funds to the Chapter and the state's five accredited children's advocacy centers.
> CONGRATULATIONS to Essex CAC, the CAC of Suffolk County, the CAC of Worcester County and Norfolk Advocates for Children for being awarded grants from NCA.

We are working with the administration on the Fiscal Year 2011 budget and making sure that the state fulfills its commitment to children affected by sexual violence.  APRIL is National Child Abuse Prevention and Sexual Assault Awareness Month |
| In April, we will be launching our MACA card campaign. Our goals are twofold: to raise awareness of child sexual assault and the importance of children's advocacy centers and to raise funds to support our operations. Many of you told us that you missed receiving a card from MACA during this past holiday season, so we will send cards in April to mark this important month.

We will be releasing our Spring newsletter a little early with a complete list of activities honoring this special month so that you have a time to plan accordingly. At press time, the following are confirmed:
- April 8th: Grand opening of Norfolk Advocates for Children. 12 Payson Road, Foxborough, MA
- April 11th: The Boston Area Rape Crisis Center Walk for Change
- April 29th: Mass. Office for Victim Assistance Victim Rights Event: A New Era, New Partnerships, Creative Collaborations: Looking Ahead in the Victim Rights Movements

- ALL MONTH LONG: 2nd Annual Pinwheel Project on the Cape and Islands: 200 pinwheels will be displayed throughout the month at all Cape Cod TD Bank sites to represent the number of children abused on the Cape and Islands annually.

Featured CAC: Norfolk Advocates for Children
The Massachusetts Children's Alliance is proud to feature the Norfolk Advocates for Children as the featured CAC and here's a message straight from their presses!
"We are pleased to announce that the Norfolk Advocates for Children (NAC) is building is complete!!! After many years of planning, Norfolk District Attorney William R. Keating and the NAC Board of Directors are happy to announce that the children's advocacy center is finished. Countless hours of hard work and dedication by Steve Kelley, project Manager, Bill & Judy Jenkins of CanFour Construction and George Jenkins have made the monumental project a reality. Their contributions have allowed us to achieve our ultimate goal creating a warm and welcoming place for child abuse victims and their families. Kindly join us for our Grand Opening on April 8th @ 4PM. All are invited to attend!"
