Greetings!
As I mentioned in previous newsletters, camping was our family's way of vacationing growing up, and the activity I looked forward to, prior to leaving on our camping trips, was fishing. Although my dad wasn't much of a fisherman he took pride and attention to making sure I was outfitted with the equipment to make it a successful outing. He had me loaded to catch Blue Marlin, with my heavy test line and double barbed hooks all neatly packed into the handle of my RONCO folding fishing pole, even though the biggest catch was normally a 3 ounce sunny. I miss those times he spent taking me camping which allowed me to dream of catching the "big one". Father's Day weekend we will be having a fishing contest to see who (father/son team) can catch the "big one". So, if you haven't already done so make your reservations for June 19, 2010. Dominick's Now At Tohickon! Vinny's Country Kitchen has opened up in the Upper Bucks Countryside.
The Italian food we have come to enjoy within minutes of Tohickon Family Campground, is now here AT Tohickon Family Campground. There were many a Friday night a pizza order was called into Quakertown, and Dominick's was the choice of our guests.
Now there is no need to make that call. Just walk from your site and right at Vinny's Country Kitchen within Tohickon Family Campground you'll get the same great food and service as you would at Dominick's or The PreGame Sports Bar and Grille.
From time to time we need to sit back and let someone else take care of breakfast, lunch or dinner...now you can do that around a campfire at Tohickon Family Campground and Vinny's Country Kitchen steps away. No need to leave the comfort of Tohickon. |
