EOLcards

HANDWORKS is once again soliciting work from

New England artists, craftspeople and makers of all skill levels

for an exhibit celebrating Valentine's Day entitled

"EXPRESSIONS OF LOVE"

This is open to everybody.

We want you to bring us one piece, one creative piece, you made for

(or to honor) a lover or a loved one, your spouse, your parents, your

grandparents, your children, your pets.

Or it can be something that a loved one made for you.

It can be something that was made for

some occasion in the past, or something made recently,

perhaps for a Valentine's Day gift.

It could be a work that is special to you because it incorporates

something that belonged to a loved one.

And, we need the background story that goes with it.

You interpret the title. We don't want to limit you. We want

something that for you is an expression of love.

And we want to display the story beside the piece.

We need all submissions by January 27, 2012.

The work will be juried and the selected pieces will be exhibited

February 3rd through February 25th at HANDWORKS.

Our intention is to accept as many pieces as possible.

These pieces will not be for sale.

This will be our seventeenth "Expressions of Love" show. They have all been wonderful.

Thanks to everyone who has participated in the past and those who will participate in the future.  Our customers are very touched that you are all willing to share these very special and personal pieces with them.  I look forward to seeing what you might present this year.

Wishing you peace and love in the New Year.
