Camp Kaylie Boys Camp Daily News

 July 7, 2011  |  5 Tammuz, 5771

Dear Camp Kaylie Parents,

Yesterday Camp Kaylie had its first ever day trip!

The entire camp spent the day at the premier activity and entertainment center, Sport Time USA.
Campers enjoyed bumper cars, laser tag, arcade games, 4-D roller coaster rides and much more.

Later campers sat down to a lunch of fresh sandwiches - made by the campers themselves.

After Mincha, we drove to the Dutchess Stadium for a minor league baseball game between the Hudson Valley Renegades and the Tri-City Valleycats. On arrival, campers enjoyed delicious

Deli Hero sandwiches which we served outside the ballpark in a large tent.

The stadium management were very welcoming,  announcing the arrival of Camp Kaylie on the large screens. Later the announcers actually encouraged campers to cheer ever more - and commented that Camp Kaylie campers were by far the most enthusiastic members of a crowd that they had seen for a long time!

After the game, numerous other fans conveyed how impressed they had been by the campers - commenting on their enthusiasm, friendliness, general behavior  - and not least cleaning up any mess.
