| Speakers Announced for NBDPA 2012 | |
Baltimore, MD--The excitement continues to build towards National BDPA's 34th Annual Technology Conference and Career Expo to be held next month at the Hilton Baltimore, August 1-4, 2012.
The theme for the 2012 technology conference is 'Transforming the IT Professional'. National BDPA (NBDPA) recently announced the Awards Gala keynote speaker for industry will be Dr. Ernest McDuffie, Leader of the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST.)
During the 34th Annual Awards Banquet in August, Dr. McDuffie will address ICT industry executives and IT, Cyber, and STEM professionals in front of a distinguished audience of national High School Computer Competition (HSCC) and IT Showcase (ITSC) finalists.
 This year's National BDPA Technology Conference features an ICT Industry Dignitaries Reception, a CIO Panel, and an HBCU/MI STEM Roundtable. Invited panelists include Mr. Terry Halvorsen (right), Department of the Navy CIO (DONCIO) and Dr. Richard Lucas, Jr., Vice President, Institutional Development, Bowie State University.
Other events open to the public include the annual Technology Career Expo, IT Showcase, and National High School Computer Competition (HSCC) scholarship round.
