Is it Fall Already?
The landscape is beginning to display colors of red, yellow, and orange. The leaves will begin to spin their way from the trees to the ground below, and temperatures will drop. Cleary Bros. Landscape is ready for each change of the season. Our plan is well under way to accommodate the new temperatures and horticultural needs. So relax and enjoy the colors of the new season!

Vidal Murgia
Vidal has been a key player in our construction department for over 15 years. He has helped set the standard for premium hardscape that Cleary Bros. has built a reputation on. Vidal is truly a gifted craftsman in concrete and masonry projects. Cleary Bros. excels on projects that have challenging engineering elements as well as demanding esthetics largely because of Vidal's experience, excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail with spectacular results! When he is not on the job, Vidal enjoys showing his horses and roping.

UCB Women's Faculty Club
UC Berkeley
The University of California Berkeley selected Cleary Bros. Landscape to install the new improvements to the historic Women's Faculty Club on the Berkeley campus. This renovation project involved American Disability Act upgrades on an old building. Cleary Bros. provided several options to correct drainage issues and install new brick paving to help the project stay on budget. Jim Horner, the Landscape Architect for UCB has come to trust Cleary Bros. Landscape as a company he can rely on to get his projects done to his standards on time and on budget.

Our property of the month features a loft community living space in Oakland called West End Commons. The landscape here is artfully comprised of drought tolerant and low water use plants that highlight native colorscapes and a variety of textures and organic characteristics. The stoic loft architecture is delicately softened by the arching native grasses our crew carefully tends. In addition, the property dog park provides a lush recreation area for community K-9 play. This savvy blending has created a Bay Friendly landscape both resident humans and their four legged family members enjoy. West End Commons sets an example as a beautifully maintained, thoughtfully landscape designed community space we are proud to be an integral part of. This property is managed by Common Interest Management of Danville.

Joke of the Month:
Some second grade boys in the neighborhood decided to start a boys club. The girls wanted to join but the boys thought they were 'dumb' and put this sign on their club house door.
