Greetings!
The end of the year is arriving quickly. In spite of the tough economy, Cleary Bros. service work has expanded both in size and reach. We have added some new talent and are optimistic about 2010. Now, if we could only control the rain! |

Cleary Bros. is Bay Friendly Certified |
Cleary Bros. is Bay Friendly Certified. During the certification process, we learned some important techniques in sustainable landscape care, such as sheet mulching. Sheet mulching is ideal for converting densely planted areas, requiring lots of water, to water efficient areas, with select shrubs and/or trees. This is a great technique to reduce water expense.

| Winter Time is Tree Care Time |
Winter is the best time to prune trees because they go into a dormant period, during which pruning is less stressful. Buds for new growth develop during winter and bloom in Spring. Removing unwanted sections in winter allows buds to derive more energy from trees.
Winter is also ideal for preventative treatments, such a fertilization. Preventative treatments promote growth and mitigate future problems. For more information, contact our Arborist and/or Plant Health Care expert at 888-242-5205. |
