This month at our Santa Rosa store, My Baby News and The Doula Connection (link) are hosting "Swaddling for Better Sleep", a presentation by Angelique Millette.
The swaddling of infants has roots throughout recorded history. Modern swaddling blankets and sleepers for babies are hugely popular as a means of settling and soothing irritable infants. Swaddled babies sleep longer with fewer awakenings.
Angelique Millette (PhDc, CLE, PCD/CD [DONA]) is the creator of the Hands to Heart Sleep Swaddle™. She is a parent coach, pediatric sleep consultant, pediatric sleep researcher, and lactation educator who has worked with families for the past 18 years.
Also: "The Fourth Trimester - What to expect in the first three months with your newborn". Presented by Marianna Terhune, DONA Certified Birth Doula, lactation specialist, midwife assistant and childbirth educator.
