There's a certain crispness in the air. . .

DEAR OLD TOWN NEIGHBOR,
It's officially fall as far as the calendar is concerned, but that doesn't mean the street cafes aren't still packed and the boutique doors aren't still propped open in Old Town.  Come on by and visit us today!
Thanks for the hospitality and the show!
Congratulations are in order for the cast and crew of  Louis Slotin Sonata at A Red Orchid Theatre (1531 N. Wells).  On Thursday, September 23rd A Red Orchid Theatre and O'Briens Restaurant teamed up to offer members of OTMRA and their guests a great deal.

Thanks to our Residents and Businesses, Fall Fest was a Great Success!

Fall Fest arrived with some clouds and rain on Saturday morning, but once things cleared up, a wonderful time was had by all.

Some of the highlights included the Great Steak Cookoff (Alpana Singh was one of the judges), the three music stages, and fifty new and talented artists.  Thanks go out to the residents and businesses who help host these festivals.   Thanks also to Michael Kardas who provides excellent photography for the festivals.
The festivals keep Old Town looking young and clean.  They keep the flowers planted and the sidewalks clean.  Additionally they provide revenue that is donated to neighborhood institutions like Franklin Fine Arts, the Near North Library, and Deborah's Place.
