Spring has Sprung

DEAR OLD TOWN NEIGHBOR,
Amazing isn't it?  The overnight changes that can occur and the changes they can cause in all of us.  Just walking down Wells Street today, one can see the outdoor diners, Old Town Gardens getting ready for the season, and people everywhere loving being outside -- and loving being in Old Town.  Read on to see what's been going on and what's coming up.

10 Questions, 10 Minutes, 10 Years, 10,000 reasons, 10 Billion dollars.
It's In Our Hands

Did you know that Old Town Merchants and Residents Association is a Census 2010 partner?  If you have any questions about your census form, misplaced it, or never received one you can stop in the Association office for all your Census 2010 needs!

The Census is incredibly important when it comes to distributing federal monies.  We need to make sure everyone in our neighborhood gets counted so the funds are appropriated accurately.
Night Out In Old Town
On March 18th the Old Town Merchants and Residents Associaiton held it's first "Night Out in Old Town"

This evening was designed to be something a little different than our usual networking socials.  Member business, A Red Orchid Theatre, is a gem on Wells Street and has a tremendous show -- Abagail's Party -- playing right now.  Just up the street a couple steps is Trattoria Roma.  You're probably getting the picture.  18 business and residential members treated themselves to a show followed by coffee and dessert for the bargain price of $20.  We even got to meet some of the cast after the show.

Keep your eyes peeled for more events like this.  If you have ideas for an event you'd like to see planned or have access to discounted offers for members, don't hestiatte to contact the office at 312-951-6106 or email otmra@oldtownchicago.org.
