Come see what's new.

Please join us on Wednesday, December 9, from 1-4 P.M. for a special Open House Showcase of One-Bedroom Homes.

Our construction crew has created a new open floor plan for the one-bedroom "B," and our interior designer is hard at work, preparing for the grand unveiling of our newly furnished model home. Be among the first to see it!

After touring several homes, enjoy some refreshments and pick up professional tips from our guest experts in real estate, transition and interior design.

Ready to start the new year off in a new home? Ask about our special transition incentives, available on select styles for a limited time -- first-come, first-served.

You are welcome to park on campus for this event. Please allow about one hour for the full tour.

Please let us know if you plan to come by submitting this online RSVP. We look forward to seeing you!

Getting outdoors brings good health and clearer thinking

Spending time on the trails has so many benefits for me! It provides emotional, physical, environmental, intellectual, social, and spiritual wellness. And, in a way, it also provides occupational wellness -- a means to cope with work stress.

In fact, I can do some of my best strategic thinking while on the trail, surrounded by the natural beauty of the woods, water, wildlife and magnificent mountains.

ShowtimeIt's Showtime: Females, Flair & Fashion

FashionShow

Last month, more than 60 hardy souls braved the inclement weather to attend a fun fashion show in the Emerald Room. Presenter Donna Lindeman Porter led the light-hearted show, demonstrating -- with the use of residents and other volunteer models -- that fashion can be fun and affordable. She also encouraged the audience to try new looks and techniques until they found a style all their own.

Giving thanks daily

It's the season for Thanksgiving, but lately I've found that I give thanks every day.

From the sound of crunching leaves under my feet during my morning walks to the joy of conversation at dinner every night, I realize I am truly blessed and have many reasons to be thankful.

Click here to learn more about what I have found to celebrate lately.

When I asked my neighbors for their thoughts, they added:

"I am grateful for my family and my life!"

"I am grateful for the improving economy."

What are you grateful for? Answering that for ourselves each day can help us appreciate our blessings, even when we may be struggling with something else.

Visit my blog anytime. And if you have a question or comment, please send me an e-mail. I'd love to hear from you!
