On Easter Sunday, the faith focus for all ages is "Jesus lives" and the Bible text is Matthew 28:1-10. The Talkabout provides families with easy ideas to help them talk about this week's Bible story at home, including discussion suggestions, activities, and prayers. The materials may be e-mailed or printed for use as a bulletin insert or handout.

Keep these words

 

Bible memory is an important part of the Gather 'Round curriculum. This quarter's Bible memory passages are Matthew 25:35-36 and Acts 3:6-8. Posters, activities, and teaching tips will guide teachers in helping children understand and memorize the verses.

 

Invite children to recite one or both of these passages for their parents or for the congregation some time this quarter. Encourage them to keep track of their memorization progress in their Bibles, and to "keep these words" with them always!
