The memory verse for this month's sessions is John 6:35:
Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes
to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty."
Ask your pastor to include this verse in worship sometime
this month,
or to help the children recite it with their teachers. Invite several
older children to lead the congregation in this prayer from the Multiage
student book, Together:
Come and See
One: Jesus in the lamb of God.

One: Jesus is the light of the world.

Enter the Bible story

The Bible story is at the heart of every Gather 'Round
session. Help teachers and children keep the focus on the story and to listen
for God's voice each week! Encourage teachers to:
- Give the story their
full attention, and allow it to be the center of the session.
- Take time to reflect on
the story with participants.
- Respond to the story,
through active or reflective options.
- Integrate the story, by
inviting participants to share what they've learned.
