Greetings!
I would like to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all of you who have in one way or another touched the lives of children. There is no greater gift then to hold a child in your arms, and allow your heart to be filled with the love and joy that comes from our Lord.
Acts 2: 28 - You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.
As we continue to rejoice in the risen Lord; let us not forget that there are still so many out there that need to know what it is like to be filled up with joy. So many of our mothers are holding bundles of love and joy in their arms as they are struggling to provide for their children. Because of your prayers and support, we will be able to put three more clients through job training in May. He has heard them calling in the night and has answered them through your gifts of love.
May your Mother's day be full of bundles of joy as laughter fills your homes! Amen!!

How great it is to be working so closely with the Pregnancy Resource Centers.
I was so blessed one Tuesday when I met with a possible new client that Vicki with the Cradle program was bringing over to meet with me.
While I was waiting for Vicki to arrive, I noticed a young woman sitting there waiting to visit with someone. She was pregnant and looked a little unsure of things. She asked me if I knew of any housing that she might be able to get into. I lost my heart!!
Anisa is enrolled at Everest College taking a class on billing and coding and making great grades. She is trying to do all she can to be ready to support her baby girl when she comes. What a blessing for us both as we sat and visited.
She is needing a place to live, she now has a cell phone, thanks to a volunteer at the APRC, and a friend to visit with about becoming a mother and what to expect.
By the time Vicki arrived with Brittani I was so excited, and humbled that all in one day God brought me two young mothers that are expecting their babies really soon. I will share more about Brittani next month. Please join me in praying for these young women as they learn more about who they are and who they belong to.

 What's Coming Up!
May 6th Women Impacting the Nation having a fundraiser for NBMM on Friday evening in Round Rock at the Art Space from 5-8pm. May 8th Baby Bottles will be passed out on Mother's day through Father's day at St. Richard's Church by Julie Polansky. Pending Events: Back to School Picnic, Bike Rally (more to come about this fundraiser)
