  Greetings!

We had a wonderful first week at Washington Academy! Our staff started on Monday and we were so happy to see our halls filled with students on Wednesday. The students did an excellent job getting back into the routine of school.

A very big thank you to our PTO for a wonderful breakfast Monday morning.  The Washington staff really appreciated it.

We hope to see everyone tonight at Beef-A-Roo on Lexus drive!

Orientation is coming up!  We look forward to seeing you as you learn about our teachers' expectations and their curriculum plans for the year.  It is our recommendation that orientation is for parents only.

Student Pick-up
In order to ensure student safety, please make any last minute changes in transportation before 2:45.  If you know ahead of time that you will be picking your child up, please send a note to your child's teacher.  If a child does not have a note or a phone call has not been received, they will be placed on the bus.

If you are picking up your child, please plan to meet them on the front patio when the school day has ended.  This will allow for students to focus on end of the day routines and ensure that all students get to the patio safely.

We want to thank you ahead of time for your cooperation!
