Well, no need to tell you how popular your workshop was...just people being turned away and a lengthy waiting list says it all! Thanks for a fabulous group.  It was very helpful in getting me started (or re-started) in a direction I've been "meaning to get to" for a long time. Thanks again to you both. - Camille

What an absolutely outstanding presentation it was! I was so impressed with the comfort, confidence, knowledge and wisdom both Susie and Patrick have to share. They easily owned the room, owned the night, and kept the crowd engaged, eager, highly energized and entertained! Their respective talents complement one another forming a partnership power-packed with the potential to bring your writing goals and dreams to fruition. Bravo!

It was really helpful to attend a workshop where experienced writers discussed effective techniques for how they overcome obstacles to their writing. Another area covered that was beneficial was how to set up an effective process for your writing. They managed to do that recognizing that what works for one person may not work for someone else, based on the way you write and what type of writing project you are working on. That impressed me.

About Susie
I never considered consulting a life coach until I gave Susie Bedsow Horgan a "test-drive" and now I can't imagine life without her as my coach. She is encouraging, challenging, motivating and a completely non-judgmental inspiration. I had a life before Susie's "Get A Life" program, but with her help I'm well on my way to getting the life I truly want. -Jessica Klein Levenbrown, writer

I've done more writing in the year I've been working with Susie than I had in the five years prior.- Sharon L.

About The Editing Company

On Patrick's Screenwriting Workshop

I thought Patrick was terrific - in three hours, he provided just enough content to instruct and inspire, but not overwhelm.  And a great balance between practical tips and conceptual insights. Patrick's program truly moved me forward, in ways that my working independently had not. -Kathy Caprino, Ellia Communications, author of Breakdown to Breakthrough

Having Patrick and Tish read my novel manuscript was invaluable to me as an aspiring author. I had other willing readers, but I wanted to  get a take from someone inside the publishing business who would look  at my work objectively. The feedback they gave me was both encouraging  and honest in ways that really helped me understand what I had and how  I needed to move forward with it. And since the publishing industry
has put more and more pressure on authors for print-ready manuscripts, the reading gave me a way to "test drive" The Editing Company as a resource for that final polish and they passed with flying colors.

Write Yourself Freeis built around one simple principle: writing is a natural and effective way to connect to your own truth. All writers need to discover their own truths to free their energy and to connect their experiences to meaning. The truth-discovery process shouldn't be labor, but play.  The Write Yourself Free™ program combines writing games with coaching and a bit of theory to assist writers in recognizing their strengths, stimulating creativity, and overcoming barriers.  Dynamic presenters, Susie and Patrick, bring a wealth of hands-on experience to the pleasures and the difficulties of non-fiction and creative writing.

Write Yourself Free™ is designed for writers at all levels --- from published writers to those who feel that they have an itch to write, but don't exactly know where or how to scratch.  The program works for all genres of writing, including memoirs, fictional and non-fiction narratives, professional presentations, and even college application essays.
