Myles K. Henry Scholarship Fund Winner!

After the passing of Myles, one of his true friends, Vinny LoBello (Vinny's East Coast Grille, Ogunquit) set up a scholarship fund in memory of Myles. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a Wells High School Senior Athlete recognized for exhibiting honesty, sportsmanship, and passion on and off the field of play.  

The raffle was drawn on Febraury 14th and raised $160.00!  All of the proceeds from the raffle will go directly to the Myles K. Henry Scholarship fund. Troy W. From Sanford, Maine was the lucky winner of a Portland Pirates Hockey Jersey which was signed by many of the players on our Portland based AHL franchise.

Can't Get To Us?

Let Us Get To You!

We have had so many requests to have our food shipped to you that it's time that we figure out how to do it! Just before the holiday season we put up a facebook post about shipping Seafood Chowder and Lobster Pie. It was a limited offering to "test" the waters. And it was a success.

Currently we have the ability to ship, via FedEx Priority Service, our Award Winning Seafood Chowder and our Lobster Pie. They come to you fresh and all you have to do is heat and serve. Don't worry, we provide cooking instructions as well.

Because fresh seafood products need to be sent via overnight courier, we are only able to ship Monday - Thursday. If you are interested, please contact Jim MacNeill at the Maine Diner through email, jim@mainediner.com. This is quite new to us so we ask that all communication concerning shipping go through Jim. Once we iron out all of the details we will simplify the process for you (and us) making it easier for you to have the Maine Diner experience even when you can't come to Wells.

This service will remain available until the end of April. Sorry we have to cut things off then, but the weather will have improved and it will be easier for you to see us in person. And trust us, we can't wait to see you again.
