The activities range from summer concerts, roadraces and craft shows to benefit events held in York County, Maine. So check it out, plan a day and don't forget that a bustling day of fun is best when started out with a warm, hearty breakfast or topped off with some blueberry pie a la mode at the Maine Diner!
Here is a small sample of some of our favorites:
South Berwick Strawberry Festival June 27th from 9 am located on Main Street in South Berwick. A yearly festival featuring a slew of activities including over 120 artisans and crafters, a five mile road race and fun walk, free entertainment and
children's activities.
Fourth of July Fireworks! July 4th at dusk on Gooch's Beach in Kennebunk. Enjoy a spectacular display of fireworks to help celebrate our nation's birthday.
7th Annual Native American Pow-Wow
July 18th & 19th at Wells harbor Park. Featuring music, dance, crafts, jewelry and demonstrations.
Christmas in July at the Nubble
July 26th beginning at 7:30 PM. A beautiful sight to behold as Santa comes to visit the Nubble Lighthouse to light the "holiday" lights.
