Has the fall left you with back to
the grind aches and pains?

Have you discovered that back and neck pains have returned as you resumed your school and work activities?
There is a solution for you.

It is a misconception that neck and back pain is a usual side effect of spending your day seated in front of a computer. This is simply not true! Neck and back pain are not a normal phenomenon!
Neck and back pain are the symptom of damage or dysfunction within your spine. It is important that you address this pain as it emerges as pain is a signal that tissue damage has occurred. Pain is a signal to motivate you into action!
At The Physio and Massage Institute ltd. our professional team can assess your spine to identify “pain generators.” Pain generators can be a number of structures including muscle, intervertebral discs or joints that have been compressed, overloaded or damaged in some manner, therefore becoming a source of pain.
Identifying the “pain generator” is the first step to correcting or reversing the factors that contributed to the tissue damage and converted a normal structure to painful tissue. A Chiropractor or a Physiotherapist will able to identify “pain generators” through a comprehensive assessment and devise an Individualized Rehabilitation Plan (IRP) specifically for you.
Current scientific literature states that a successful IRP will contain several of the following elements:
Mobilization of the tissue via massage or tissue release techniques performed by a Chiropractor or a Massage Therapist.

An exercise program to address muscle imbalances, address spinal strength and stabilization and include generalized strengthening and conditioning, best implemented by a Chiropractor or a Physiotherapist.

Acupuncture/trigger point needling performed by a Certified Healthcare Practitioner.

Spinal adjustments performed by a Chiropractor.
