Greetings |
We extend our greetings to you - mid September is already here, with a colorful Autumn in Southern New England fast approaching. This month we want to repeat information that was in our July Tool Trends regarding Somma cut off blades. Please remember that we have a large inventory of T type, hollow ground, and carbide tipped blades in our stock and in our distributors' stock. We can also quote discounted prices based on quantities requested. Contact us, or your local Somma distributor, with any questions you may have. |
Somma Cut Off Blades |
We manufacture a large variety of T type cut off blades in various heights, widths and high speed steel (H.S.S.) materials and they are in stock at Somma or at Somma stocking distributors. They can be used on CNC, multi-spindle, Brown & Sharpe, and Davenport machines. M2 material is for general usage, M4PM has excellent wear resistance, and T15PM has highest wear resistance and red hardness. T Type blades are also stocked in C2 solid carbide for longer wear, less galling, better finish, and higher speeds than high speed steels. All blades are also stocked Tin Coated. We also manufacture H.S.S. hollow ground cutoff blades, micro-grain carbide tipped double end T type cut off blades, micro-grain carbide tipped hollow ground cutoff blades, and Acme "B" type cut off blades 7 degree beveled. New with the Somma catalog 2008 are short length micro-grain carbide tipped cut off blades. These blades are only 2-3/8" long instead of 5" long and are available with a ¾" height. Please see pages 28-29 for more details on all of the Somma cut off blades, or go to www.sommatool.com.
