 As mentioned last month, Somma Tool Company participated in the Precision Machined Products Association (PMPA) National Technical Conference in Indianapolis last month and we had a good number of customers stop at our booth to see what was new at Somma. A wide selection of Somma tooling was on display and there was much interest in our new products such as our Dovetail Sharpening Fixture, our Swiss Broach Tool Holders and Broaches, our Collet Chuck Style Broach Tools and CNC Broach Tools, our Broach Centering Fixture, etc, etc.
What really surprised us, however, is that most people were not aware that Somma now offers Sumitomo Tooling and that many Sumitomo products are listed in the 2008 Somma catalog! With that we have decided to highlight the Somma / Sumitomo connection this month and how it can benefit you... |

Sumitomo offers a complete line of Swiss Tooling, steel and carbide Boring Bars, and solid carbide cutoff & grooving holders, all at very competitive pricing. We have found Sumitomo carbide inserts to be superior to other major brands previously used in our plant.
