Many of our "old time" distributors and customers may remember the Somma "Tool Trends" newsletter which was mailed monthly from 1982 into the 1990's. The newsletter included information on new developments in our company and in the industry, new tooling being introduced by Somma, some case histories, and even a return postcard for your inquiries and feedback. Well, the return postcards and #10 envelopes may be out, but "Tool Trends" has officially returned, in a new electronic form!

For as long as you chose to remain on our E-mail Newsletter List you will receive this monthly communication from us. We will keep you up to date with the latest events at Somma, the newest Somma tooling available for the turned parts industry, some technical information, and any periodic sales promotions being offered. Attachments and the Reply Button will take the place of return postcards.

Somma Tool now means Swiss. We have listened to you, our customers, and have added a full line of tooling for Swiss Machines. With our new Somma catalog #2008, we now offer Swiss type cut-off tool holders on page 32, Sumitomo inserts and tooling on pages 34-45, Right hand and Left hand tools for Swiss on pages 46 & 47, and Swiss broach tool holders and broaches on pages 50 & 51. We are certain our new line of tooling will be of benefit to your Swiss department, and we'll even include a free Somma polo shirt to try us out!
