Louisiana's arts conservatory NOCCA is forming a regional high school chorus that will provide vocal training and performance opportunities during the 2009-10 school year. Interested students may visit www.nocca.com for more information as they prepare for open auditions taking place

- Program Requirements: High School Student (8-12th grade) commitment to weekly sessions, Thursdays 4-6 PM
- Yearly Fee: $20 per accepted student/no cost to audition

- demonstrate a singing voice with professional potential by singing a hymn or art song;
- demonstrate the ability to match and select pitches and sing a major scale in tune;
- be able to express a strong desire to explore vocal music.
