ASBPO and Recruiters Attend SAFMLS Conference
Our dedicated Blood Bankers and blood donor recruiters are wrapping up attendance at a week-long conference in Reno, Nevada. The Society of Armed Forces Medical Laboratory Scientists (SAFMLS) conference is an annual event which offers blood bankers of all expertise pertinent information to their profession.
A number of the ASBPO staff attended the conference and served as presentation leaders on various topics such as Marketing Best Practices, Communications and Public Affairs, and Recruitment Techniques. By attending this conference, our recruiters ensure that their skills are sustained and sharpened in support of their efforts to recruit volunteer blood donors. Daily activities included networking with other professionals in the field, attending information sessions on the newest products, taking refresher courses on recruitment strategies and sharing best practices from region to region. |
