ASBP Exhibits At The Pentagon's National Preparedness Fair
The Pentagon Force Protection Agency hosted the National Preparedness Fair at The Pentagon on 24 September 2008. This event served to inform the public about our government's abilities and resources to react to and manage disasters and biological events. As a member of the 13-member AABB Interorganizational Task Force on Domestic Disasters and Acts of Terrorism, the ASBP was proud to participate at this event. The ASBP, in case of disaster, will coordinate our Nation's blood supply through unique channels within the military and Department of Defense, to ensure blood and blood products are readily available. |
