TIME: 11am to 5pm
LOCATION: Portland's Historic Irvington Neighborhood
Last year we had a few tickets at the door for sale on the day of the Tour... But this year ticket sales are running 40% ahead of last year! Don't find yourself without a ticket on Tour Day... it's simple and easy to buy on line (or if you're in the neighborhood stroll to one of our great retail ticket outlets). If you've already bought your tickets, THANKS! But be sure to tell your friends about the Tour.
What will you see on the Tour? Great historic homes in a huge range of styles and eras from the 20th Century: That elegant Grecian Doric column above with its Classical pediment is from a gracious Colonial Revival home you'll tour on Thompson Street -- on the Tour for the first time this year.
This rustic clinker-brick porch column graces a magnificent Craftsman Style home designed by Raymond Hockenberry, the legendary designer who created Crater Lake Lodge -- see it too on Tour Day plus 6 other terrific homes.
Three of the homes on the Tour have been featured in Paul Duchscherer's nationally renowned Bungalow book series, including Outside the Bungalow and Beyond The Bungalow.
Want a sneak-peek at some of the homes you'll see this year? Finally, we know many of you are traveling from out of town for the Tour. Check out lodging options here, and get insight into eateries and other neighborhood services with the Irvington Resource Guide.
