DATE: Sunday, May 16, 2010
TIME: 11am to 5pm
LOCATION: Portland's Historic Irvington Neighborhood
Eight great homes -- Colonial, Craftsman, Bungalow, even Mid-Century Modern -- await you for ideas and inspiration. Plus, history is on our minds even more than usual since Irvington is being nominated as a National Register Historic District, and we've scheduled a lecture by our Historic Preservation Chairperson on Elizabeth Irving, whose 19th Century foresight and courage were essential in creating the Irvington you see today.
So, don't wait -- order your tickets on line now and avoid lines and the risk of a sold-out Tour. Of course, if you live in the neighborhood, you can also pick up your tickets at local merchants starting April 15. All the details are here.
Want a sneak-peek at some of the homes you'll see this year? Visit us on Facebook where the committee shares the ins and outs of organizing this event.
Didn't catch our 2009 Tour? No problem, photos of the homes we toured last year are on our website now.
Finally, we know many of you are traveling from out of town for the Tour. Check out lodging options here, and get insight into eateries and other neighborhood services with the Irvington Resource Guide.
