It's a morning where I should be now filling my flask and remembering the last minute stuff

in preparation for three days of the autumn Art on the Green. However, instead of that, I am staying home. I could blame it on my work colleague, Batty Blue Beetle, who, like a thing possessed, wouldn't close or open its rear end yesterday and started flapping and bleating its whee whee alarm and flashing its amber indicators at anyone who passed.
I could blame it on my sore toe that has been throbbing for days, as a result of a massive splinter that was removed by a brave soul who was moved by my own whee whee whining.
I could even blame it on my 2012 calendar that is about to go to the printers, if I could only decide on the cover.
But I won't blame my non-appearance on any of these calamities. I'll ask for help. It's not in my nature, so it is a new adventure. Is this a good cover for my 2012 calendar?
