you've not heard from me in a while because, well, I've been painting.  Well, yes of course, I've been painting, but the real answer is that my computer has developed an  unco-operative personality, with some rather quirky habits.  it refuses to work on more than one programme at a time.  

 

For a serious multi-tasker like myself, this is a significant limitation and it makes activities like this one, rather tedious.

However,  every cloud has a silver lining, and I have spent the last few months painting rather a lot.   

 

In fact, I am not long back from two very wet weeks in  Connemara 

 

 

 

 

On one of the two days when it didn't pour, the wind was so strong that I had to sit in the back of my car in order not to be blown off the bog

Summer is well and truly here now, and just to prove it, despite the rain, I'll be back on St Stephen's Green in Dublin next weekend. My pitch is at the top of Dawon St...No 70
