The Advent season is one of great promise as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The power of that promise is in the person of Jesus himself. For me, the Christmas story is a saving grace story. The Gospel message is wrapped up in Jesus Christ. The Good News is that the gospel--Jesus himself--is the power of God for salvation (Romans 1:16). The power of Christmas is Emmanuel--God with us. My prayer for you is that you will experience this power--God with you--in new and fresh ways this Christmas.
