Please mark your calendars for the final opportunity to provide comments for the SMARTER Balanced content specifications for English language arts. The Round 2 review is extremely short (just one week). Thanks to all of you that participated in Round 1. It is very important for educators to review the draft in detail and then submit your survey comments directly to SMARTER Balanced. ACSA is also submitting organization comments by the deadline so we welcome your input no later than September 27th to sgriffith@acsa.org. Once finalized, the content specifications for math and ELA/literacy will serve as the basis for the SMARTER Balanced system of summative and interim assessments and formative assessment support for teachers.
