Greetings!
Greetings of peace!
In this issue, consideration is given to peace building in a world beset by war. Within the framework of Catholic Social Teaching, our guest writer, Scott Wright, focuses upon the implementations of U.S. nuclear policy and the threat of war with Iran. Also in this posting are new resources on All Souls' Day, a bulletin insert on global security and the 2012 elections, a unit on the Congo, a film discussion on the documentary Fog of War, as well as a prayer service through the eyes of a child. We hope that you will find these resources of value.
The principles of CST are an insistent reminder that our response to wars, and calls of war, must be an ever greater commitment to building pathways to a world of peace. Let us join our voices with Pope Paul VI in saying, "No more war, war never again!"
Please feel free to contact us if we can be of further service to you and your ministry. If you are not already a member please join us now! If you have let your membership lapse please renew now!
