Helen Keller once said, "We do not know the depth of love in our hearts until some dreadful sorrow reveals it to us, and then we realize a little what God's love must be like." This quote has had renewed resonance as I have had to face the very sudden and unexpected death of my mother. Much had to be left undone in these past days. We apologize for the interruption in service and responsiveness and appreciate your understanding.

This series offers a theology that explores the dynamics and uses of power from a variety of perspectives. Each posting this fall includes a new segment of the series.
Power Part Four:
Part Four explores ways in which we can cooperate in the task of redeeming power, of unmasking and confronting power that has become idolatrous and dehumanizes. Power that dehumanizes must be confronted and addressed. Part Four looks at the relationship between biblical justice and redemption in engaging and enriching ways.
