Dear ,

World Leaders are meeting in New York this week to discuss the progress made in addressing the Millennium Development Goals.  The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) have triggered the largest cooperative effort in world history to fight poverty, hunger, and disease.  With five more years to go, several setbacks are impeding progress, particularly the global financial crisis and the food crisis, but hope remains strong that renewed efforts by all involved harness the political and economic will to meet the targets set.  See our resource below detailing the current status of MDGs.

We have a great lineup of new resources to support your ministry of faith and justice.  Please see our list at the left.

Peace,
Sr. Katherine Feely, SND
