In the Easter Season
May 12, 2010
Dear ,

We continue to watch and pray for all those who have been affected so gravely by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.  We pray for the families who have lost loved ones and others who have lost their livelihoods.  We continue to pray for the clean-up efforts and a swift solution to the crisis.

We have a series of new resources for you as you celebrate May, Mary's month.  Please see the list of resources to the left.

Also, as we look towards the summer, please let us know how we can support your ministry with new resource ideas and suggestions.

Peace,
Sr. Katherine Feely, SND

Arizona Law and Church Teaching on Immigration
Border FenceRights in Focus
The state of Arizona recently passed immigration reform that allows local police to initiate an investigation when they suspect a person may not be legally residing in the state.  Many, including the Catholic bishops of Arizona, are concerned this law violates
the protections guaranteed by the Constitution, that it will impact negatively on immigrant families, and that it compromises public safety.

This two-page prayer service focuses on the virtue of hope and it's necessity in working towards a gospel vision.
