March
March 1, 2010
Dear ,

We pray for the people of Chile and the victims of the recent earthquake. We are mindful of the suffering of people around the world and carry them in our thoughts and prayers.

In this liturgical season, Lent is a time to let physical practices and penitential activities lead us into greater spiritual awareness and conversion. As Pope Benedict notes, "Conversion to Christ, believing in the Gospel, ultimately means this: to exit the illusion of self-sufficiency in order to discover and accept one's own need - the need of others and God, the need of forgiveness and God's friendship." (Pope Benedict XVI, 2010 Lenten message.)

Education for Justice has numerous resources to support you on your journey. May we each find the particular tools we need to allow the Lenten practices of prayer, fasting and almsgiving move us to deeper conversion and greater solidarity.

Please see the list at the left for new resources just created to support your work in educating for justice.

Peace,
Sr. Katherine Feely, SND

Stations of the Cross & the Death Penalty
Booklet ready-to-print
This resource is a print-ready prayer booklet to be used in a group setting for praying the Stations of the Cross. This resource requires simple printing directions which are available here. Stations of the Cross  - En Espanol
Way of cross Based on Oscar Romero's writings This Stations of the Cross reflection, in Spanish, uses words from Oscar Romero's Sept. 10, 1978 homily to correspond with each of the stations of the cross. A great resource for Spanish-speaking audiences during Lent.
