Advent Resources
December 4, 2009
Dear ,

With the recent sobering news of 30,000 additional U.S. troops being deployed to Afghanistan, we continue the Advent journey praying for peace and an end to war.

In addition to the resources featured below, there are many additional resources to explore on the web site.  New resources are posted on the home page in between newsletters.  Check often for new resources.

Please see the list at the left for new resources just created to support your work in educating for justice.

During this third week of Advent, we are invited to reflect on individuals who have been able to move from anger at groups or communities whose violence has touched their lives.  To move from fear, anger and even hate to a celebration of reconciliation can be possible when we recognize the healing power of God in our midst.
