Prayer Service: Praying with Those in Poverty
Fullness of life Based on "Caritas in Veritate"
This three-page prayer service flows from Pope Benedict's encyclical, "Caritas in Veritate".  In Catholic social teaching, the preferential option for the poor invites us to see with the eyes of God, to take note of those who are most vulnerable, so that as disciples, we work to restore all people to the fullness of life in community.

Food Drives and Justice
cross Tools to Move from Charity to Justice
Is your school or community involved in food drives during the Thanksgiving or Christmas Season? Then use this resource to analyze ways you can serve people with justice as well as charity.

This resource is a useful tool to take a fresh look at the justice issues underlying the need for such drives and the structural causes of hunger. A justice checklist is provided.
