Dear ,
As signs of spring begin to appear on the landscape all around us, new signs of hope are also evident in other arenas. The Environmental Protection Agency recently officially adopted the
position that carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions pose a
danger to the public's health and welfare.
This new move signals a significant change in the government's approach to global warming and there is hope it can lead to greater protection of the environmental and greater accountability regarding the impact of our actions.
Earth Day, observed around the world on April 22nd, must be celebrated every day. We share our one planet and what we do to the earth, we do to ourselves. Our resources below highlight a variety of ways to celebrate Earth Day and reverence the earth.
