Advent Reflection Week One:
Madonna and Child No  Room at the Inn
This reflection for the first week of Advent invites us to look at who and what we "welcome" and what we "have no room for." This four-page resource includes a reflection on Luke 2:6-12, reflection questions, prayer, and a case study for discussion.  Do we dare to look more closely at what and who we welcome and who we turn away?
Advent Reflection Week Two:
crooked path Obstacles and Crooked Paths
"A voice cries in the wilderness: Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight his paths." We know that divine love and grace flow infinitely in the paths of our lives, but that too often we block God's entrance. God sends us the message to straighten our paths and abandon our cooked ways.  We need to straighten up our lives to prepare for the heart-stirring presence of God within us and our world. This reflection is based on Mark 1:1-5.
Advent Reflection Week Three:
mystical rose Becoming Children of God
As we prepare for the great feast, we reflect on what it means to be part of the mystery of the 'Word made flesh', and what it means to accept the Word into our lives. If we step back and watch how we live a day, can we see ourselves celebrating the glory of our human love in our encounters, relationships and actions?  How could we better embody the glory of God's grace and truth?  This reflection is based on John 1:9-14.
