Nepali Legendary Singers Bhim Tuladhar, Nalina Chitrakar and Ram Shrestha to help celebrate Nepali New Year in New Jersey and help raise funds for FONNJ charities.  

 

We are very pleased to announce that Nepali Legendary singers Bhim Tuladhar, Nalina Chitrak and Ram Shretha along with our local artists and children will help to usher in Nepali New  year 2068 in New Jersey

Please join us and celebrate Nepali New Year 2068 with us. Listen to popular songs and enjoy homemade food, networking with professionals as well as social hour.  We will be serving our own gourmet home made Nepali food prepared by expert cooks (snacks, beverages and dinner). FONNJ Helps Nepalese-Bhutanese in Trenton, NJ

Friends of Nepal -NJ in cooperation with SEWA International and Rotary International have been conducting various health camps and informational sessions to help them adjust to new culture. 

We would like to thank many Nepalese community people in New Jersey who have helped these people.  
FONNJ and Sewa International will be conducting its 2nd Health Camp and New Year celebration on Saturday April 2nd at the Luthran Church in Trenton.  If you like to donate any computers, electronic items and funds to start a small micro-business,  please contact Dr. Tulsi Maharjan.

On January 23, 1951, the United States and Nepal signed an agreement that began a 59-year relationship of trust, mutual respect, and commitment to the people of Nepal. With that signing, the United States became the first bilateral donor to Nepal, and in this time, the US has provided more than $1.2 billion in development assistance to Nepal.
