NW Women's Show
March 28th - 30th
The Seattle Jaycees will have a booth at the NW Women's Show. We are in need of volunteers to help us run the booth. We are planning on having 2 shifts a day. 10am - 2pm and 2pm - 6pm. We would like to have at least 2 people for each shift. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Heather at evp@seattlejaycees.org as soon as possible.
Remember, this is not only for women! Guys, you are more than welcome to help at the booth too. |
March GM

The 2008 Board of Directors would like to the General Membership Meeting on March 5th at 6:30pm.
We will have a guest speaker from the Washington Posion Center to promote Mr. Yuk Week. Please visit www.wapc.org for more info.
We also need your vote to approve the 2008 Chapter Plan and Budget. This is very important that we get this voted on so please try to attend.
We have some exciting events and projects on the calendar for this year and hope that you will join us.

Relay For Life

Join us for another year and help us raise money for cancer research. Join our team and walk with us at the University of Washington.

PFEA

PFEA is coming! If you are interested helping out with this great event, please contact Heather @ evp@seattlejaycees.org.
We need lots of volunteers to help with this project. We need food, decorations, programs, auction donations, advertising, station visitors, etc. The list goes on. Please consider helping with this wonderful event. We would like to start committee meetings right away. Please contact us if you want to help out.

 Seattle will be holding a Kids Day at the end of Mr. Yuk week

Tacky Prom
April 16th @ 6:30pm
Coming
up for our April GM, we will be holding our very own Tacky Prom! What
a great reason to put on that "tacky" bridesmaids dress or old prom
dress that you haven't worn in forever!
Or better yet, bring
that old dress to donate. We will be collecting dresses and
accessories that will be donated to those individuals that can't afford
them for their own prom.

Seattle Mariners
Isn't it time for some sun, green grass, hot dogs, and America's favorite pasttime?
We think so too! The Seattle Jaycees are planning on attending some Mariner's games this season. Are you interested? Dates have yet to be determined, but if you want in on this action, please contact Heather at evp@seattlejaycees.org
