Now is a great time to think about listing your property with us.  We have already closed 11 sales in 2011 and several more are pending closing.  In all markets we are seeing well priced homes, in good condition, selling.  We have the complete support of the largest real estate compnay in Northern Palm Beach County providing a full range of in-house services including title insurance, home maintenance, rental services, homeowners insurance and mortgage products.  Additonally, we have had great success handling the complex membership issues at BallenIsles.   

 

Despite the gloomy national housing news, things are moving along nicely here in South Florida and more specifically for Illustrated Properties.  Year to date through June the number of Illustrated closings are at 1,973 vs 1,651 in 2010.  That is a 19.5% increase.  Our volume has increased 21% over 2010.  As of June 30th we closed $543M.  At this rate IPRE should close over $1B in sales for the first time in 4 years.  The fact that the numbers are up 20% is even more impressive when you consider that this time last year we were enjoying a bump in business from the first time home buyers tax credit.    

  

We truly believe the worst is behind us.  We have been under a 10 month supply of homes for Palm Beach County for 3 months in a row.  We were at a 40+ month supply at the end of 2007 and it has been steadily decreasing since then. A 6-8 month inventory is normal and we are almost there!!!!

Here is what we did.  Using a platnium American Express Card four couples booked a Saturday night at the Four Seasons on the ocean in Palm Beach.  Room rate was $245 for the night but get this.. it included a room upgrade if available, 4 pm late checkout, a $100 hotel credit to use for dining or spa services, and free breakfast.  We decided to book dinner at the the restaurant and use our credit towards a divine repast.  Then we booked golf at the Breakers ocean course on Saturday for $45 per person including cart fee with the reciprocal BallenIsles program.  We also booked Sunday golf at the Palm Beach Par 3 with views of the Intracostal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean.  OK, we got drenched in the rains on Saturday but we did get a rain check 18 holes anytime!  Saturday afternoon we took a long walk on the beach and then watched the beautiful people at our hotel stroll by.  Add leisurely cocktails, divine dining and 24 hours away felt like a long weekend in the Keys!
