REAL ESTATE TRENDS
BallenIsles Sales*
 102A Palm Point
May was a very active month here in BallenIsles with 4 properties closing bringing the year to date total to 10.  Our year to date total for May 31, 2008 was 16 properties sold.  At first glance this appears to be a downward trend for sales but we do have many pending contracts due to close over the upcoming months that should favorably effect our YTD totals.

John D MacArthur Beach State Park park
A unique mixture of coastal and tropical hammock and mangrove forest, this barrier island provides a haven for several rare or endangered native tropical and coastal plant species. The park's Nature Center shows visitors why the park is a biological treasure. Visitors can swim, picnic, and surf at the beach; scuba diving and snorkeling are also popular activities. Birdwatchers can see herons, brown pelicans, terns, sandpipers, and gulls. Anglers can fish in the lagoon by wading, kayaking, or canoeing.  Over 300 acres of pristine Florida, nature walks, undeveloped subtropical shoreline and a nature center are open daily 8AM to Sunset. A 1/4 mile walkway brings you to a 45 acre oceanfront beach island. Bring a picnic and enjoy the solitude and beauty. During the summer months, this is a prime nesting sight for loggerhead, green and leatherback turtles and evening walks are given.  Some special events are listing below and more details can be obtained by phoning.
