Art Swap 50/50 - A Fun Fundraiser  

Redecorate your walls, clean out your studio and storage bins, turn your unused art supplies into real cash and join in a fun event that promises to thaw the coldest January evening.   

 
We will be accepting submissions of handmade crafts, wall art, art supplies, and other handmade art items (no furniture or antiques) to be sold in a silent auction. All proceeds will be split 50% to you and 50% to CAE - eveyone wins!

Participation Fee: $10 for up to 5 items (multiple smaller items and art supplies can be grouped as one or as a "lot") + 50% on all sales

January 6th - 10th: Delivery of items and paperwork. Hours: Friday & Saturday 12-4pm and Monday & Tuesday 10am-4pm.

January 12th - 20th: Items on display and open for bidding 

January 20th, 5-8pm: Swap Night - everything must go! Join us for refreshments, music, and fun.  All items start at $5 and everything will have a "Buy It Now" price (determined by CAE based on the stated value).

Winter/Spring Class Registration     

We are now taking registrations for our Winter/Spring class schedule.  The first week of classes begins January 9.  There are 10 classes and workshops next week.  Some classes are already full and several classes need more students so the class can make.  We still have openings for Figure Drawing, Let's Paint Watercolor Winter Landscapes, The Visual Philosophy of Painting, a one day Mixed Media Workshop and other classes starting Jan. 10 - Jan. 14. Each class must have at least 4-6 students to go, so please sign up before this Friday, Jan. 6.   This semester has a wide array of classes for all levels and two classes for children.  Visit our website for a complete listing and to register for a class. The printed schedule should be in by the end of this week. You can also register by contacting Jonathan Nicklow by phone at 303.674.0056 or by coming into the Center.
