Capturing Bear Creek: A Quang Ho Exhibit

On exhibit till June 16, 2011

The Center for the Arts Evergreen is proud to present Capturing Bear Creek: A Quang Ho Exhibit May 20th - June 16th, 2011. Although nationally acclaimed artist, Quang Ho, has been exhibiting in Denver for over 30 years, this is his first one-man exhibition in Evergreen. Join us to see several different bodies of work by Quang Ho.

The exhibit is named for one body of work which features Bear Creek, Evergreen's scenic natural feature and the birthplace of the community in the late 1800's. Quang Ho created several paintings of the local creek, which will be featured in the exhibit. He will also exhibit several other bodies of work to compliment the Bear Creek series.

Volunteer for Summerfest

July 16th & 17th

What says summer more than lemonade and barbecues?  Why, Summerfest, of course.

With arts and crafts galore, food, entertainment and activities for the whole family, the Summerfest Arts and Crafts Festival is the premier mountain event of the summer and the Center for the Arts Evergreen's biggest fund raiser of the year.  Mark July 16th and 17th for a weekend of fun at the Buchanan Park ball fields.

An event of this magnitude takes a village of volunteers to produce.  Reserve your front row seat for fun - and free entrance to the festival - by joining our Summerfest volunteer team.  You can help set up the festival, welcome artists, park cars, greet folks, spread hospitality or clean up.  Everyone is welcome and anything helps.

A complete list of volunteer opportunities can be found here Sign up on line or call the Center for the Arts Evergreen at 303-674-0056 for more information.
