Celebrate Champions of Mentoring at Fenway Park
The Red Sox will host the 5th Annual Champions of Mentoring, MMP's signature recognition and fundraising event, on Thursday, May 7, at Fenway Park.
We'll recognize four leading supporters of youth mentoring: John Pearson, Dave Gesmondi, The Bay State Banner, and the Boston Red Sox, and present two scholarships to mentees: the KELLY Award, and a new Marilyn Russell Award.
As a special offer to our program partners, we have lowered the ticket price to $50 - a 50 percent discount (limit two discounted tickets per program). If you are interested in purchasing tickets at this reduced rate, please contact Liz Britt at lbritt@massmentors.org or 617.695.2439.

New Ambassador host sites announced
MMP is proud to announce the Ambassador host sites for the 2009-2010 program year. This year's process was much more competitive, and we received more than 30 program applications for only 17 available Ambassador slots.
In the 2009-10 year, three Ambassadors will be placed at MMP in Boston and Springfield to complete a corps of 20. Almost half of the current 2008-09 host sites applied for and received a member for a second year.
More information on the 2009-10 Ambassador service descriptions will be e-mailed next week.
